Blown Music and Vicious Sloth Collectables present Head Like a Hole.

Head Like a Hole – The undomesticated animal of NZ rock. Originally from Wellington, formed in 1990, their first single Fish Across Face, from their debut album “13” reached the top ten. The band gained a strong and dedicated following with outrageous gigs, performing naked and caked with mud, or with complete face and body paint, and producing a unique brand of videos which cemented their place in New Zealand rock history.

HLAH performed at the 1996 Big Day Out, and also the 1997 BDO as the final act after the headliners Soundgarden, and had a huge crowd in The Supertop

After disbanding in 2000 reformed in 2009 and released the album ‘Blood Will Out’ in 2011 and spent 9 weeks in the charts reaching no.8.

Head Like A Hole are nothing less than rock royalty in New Zealand.

After 20 years Head Like A Hole will be returning for 2 shows in Melbourne. They will be playing the St Kilda Bowlo ( St Kilda Sports Club) – on Friday 22, and at The Tote on Sat 23rd.

HLAH will be launching their latest album Narcocorrido over the 2 shows… and on the Saturday will be launching a split 7″ that the band have done with local fuzzy hair band Seedy Jeezus.

Both gigs will have something unique at each, and bonus’s for the early birds who attend both and get in to support the local bands who are coming along to celebrate this event.
